In chapter 9, Billy catches his first coon and hangs it on the tree, and his grandpa uses a scarecrow to capture the coon. Little Ann and Old Dan supervise their prey for the whole night, but the coon escapes and fight with Little Ann, Little Ann gets injure and Old Dan kills the coon. The tree that uses to captures the coon is fallen. Billy apologizes to the tree because he wants to cut it down. I think he wants to cut down the tree. He spends several days and nights to cuts the tree to hunts the coons, when the tree is finally fallen, he fail to catch his first coon. He needs to cut the tree,  every time he sees the tree he will remember the first time he fail and he will give up again.

  I've made a lot of decisions, but the most significance one I made recently is a conflict with my neighbor. During the first week of school after Christmas Break, I was so excited to came back to school, but the bad thing happened. In one day's afternoon, I went back to dorm after school and hanged out in my room, but my neighbor came into my room with a big metal pipe, swung it around and it almost hit me. That was not the end, after that he blew with the pipe and it smells really bad.  I told him to stop but he kept doing that, threw the pipe around with some rude words. I told Ms Sullens next day, and he got two demerits. Ms Sullens asked me if I wanted to forgive him. It was hard to choose. If I forgave him, I couldn't make sure that he won't do this anymore or got revenge on me. If I don't, I've got a chance to change to another room. I didn't want him to hate me. I've thought of it for the whole night,finally I decided to forgave him, at least he stopped doing this recently. I was happy because I made the right decision.
